Lily’s Senior Session

The Sunflower Garden

Lily absolutely stunned during her senior session at the Sunflower Garden in Westminster! I get a lot of inspiration photos from seniors that feature wildflowers, and in Maryland that usually means scheduling your senior pictures right before senior year even starts. But honestly, it’s a perfect time to capture photos before the craziness of fall kicks off. The evenings are long and warm, and everyone looks amazing at the end of summer!

This was only my second time shooting here, but I already felt like I had a good feel for the best spots and how the light moves across the field. Lily brought the most beautiful dresses too. Each one had its own vibe, but I’m always a little partial to the long dresses that show movement and are fun to pose in. I love saving those looks for the best light of the evening!

I also love when families jump in for a few photos. Siblings, parents, even grandparents sometimes. Senior year is such a special season and it really does fly by. It’s worth capturing a few of those moments together.
